The Four Seasons: Student Books
My students loved making their own online books in the Scribble My Story App. We wrote about the four seasons.
The students can edit, save and record themselves reading their story. The app stores the books so they can go back and read it again and again.
This is a great tutorial on how to create a scribble book:
You can also take a screen shot of the students work and put the pictures in PicStitch to create one photo:
The students also used the Pixie App to color trees in season and label them.

Frog Facts in Story Form on the iPad
This is my attempt at a how to draw for frogs.
My sample:
We drew and painted frogs and then wrote frog facts. Each student chose a fact for our class book. I took a picture of their art, recorded each students voice in the Chatterkid app and then uploaded them to the Book Creator app. They are two very to use apps and the students LOVED the video. They wanted to watch it a hundred times.
Here is our class book video:
These are the two easy to use apps I used to create this book.
Take a picture of the art. Add a line where the mouth is and then record the students voice. You can save it to your pictures and then add it to Book Creator. Its helps to use one iPad for this step.
