Color Fractions

Give each student a copy of the fraction sheet and one section of the color rods. Make copies of several different colors. Have the student choose one color and then cut out the whole. Have them cut out the next fraction, split it in half and then exchange one of the halves with another student and write down that color. Keep going cutting and exchanging with students that  have a different color.
