Start small: Have the students draw their house.
They open their book and it reveals their state.
And then their Country.
And finally the world.
You start small and the book keeps opening up until you get to the full page of the world. Print the following pages 1-2 sided. You can cut and paste your state clip art from the website below.
You could paint it or use textured rubbings for some artsy fun or just color it, depending on how much time you have.
