The students were given seven unifix cubes. They drew a T-chart with the number 7 at the top on a blank piece of paper. They had 2 minutes to come up with as many combinations of 7 as they could with their unifix cubes. Then we went through the combinations together on the other side starting with 0 and 7. We transferred them to the combinations of 7 worksheet when we were finished.
