The Four Seasons

Tree Pattern

Here it is in The Mailbox magazine.

So here's what I did...
We water colored a piece of paper (dark at the top lighter at the bottom) with blue. While that was drying we cut a copy of a tree from brown construction paper and glued it on. Then we cut apart the picture into 4 different squares. I let them choose straight or curvy lines. The straight lines make it look more like a window. After that we sponge painted the leaves and snow on. I cut leaf shapes from sponges and hot glued them to empty water bottles so it wasn't sooo messy. When it was dry we glued them onto a piece of black construction paper. I had them laminated because the water color makes the paper really wavy.
