We Read The Biggest, Best Snowman, and then created our own out of clay. When we were finished we wrote about how to build a snowman.
Here is the recipe I used:
| AIR-DRY CLAY | |
1 c. water
3 c. salt 1 c. cornstarch
Mix water and salt. Place in pan over medium heat. Gradually add cornstarch and heat until mixture thickens into a mass. Cool the clay on a piece of aluminum foil before kneading. Form into creative sculpture, ornaments, etc. Air dry. Hardens to a smooth finish.
