Word Ladders







Another word for choose 

A color between red and white.
Change the third letter.

Where you wash your hands.
Change the first letter.

“We ____ in our music class.”
Change the last letter.

After using worksheets from this book (which the students love) to manipulate words, we made word ladder art inspired by Jasper Johns.

  1. So colorful. Were the letters already printed on the paper before being painted?

  2. They measured and drew the lines and then traced die cut letters(I die cut them on old file folders). All of them were able to trace the letters by themselves. We used large construction paper so they would all fit.
